Q: Will the unit blow up if I short circuit the RED and BLACK terminal together?

A: NO absolutely NOT! Unlike other products in the market place, the JUMP START has a built-in polarity safety circuit to shut itself down for your extra protection.

Q: My car battery has zero power and JUMP START does not pass polarity test!

A: If you car battery has absolutely no power (<3V), you need to override the JUMP START safety polarity check circuit in order to send power to the car. First, make sure you put the correct polarity terminal onto to the battery, then hold and press the "JUMP START" + "Light" button for 5 sec., this will allow the unit to enter safe mode. Then power will flow into the car battery and ready for starting. (optional in some models)
