Polycase has introduced the new YH Series of NEMA-rated hinged electrical enclosures. The new series, which is available in eight sizes ranging from 6"x 4" through 16"x 14", is molded from impact-resistant polycarbonate.

The company said the YH Series is designed to protect components in the most difficult environments, meeting NEMA type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 specifications and IP68 of IEC 60529 requirements.

The features of YH Series electrical enclosures include stainless steel hardware, robust hinges and gasket, and an optional internal mounting panel suspension system.

The new series enclosures can be used in different applications such as marine, communications, water treatment, utility, alternative energy, or in any environment where non-corrosive, waterproof enclosures are required.

Polycase can apply cutouts, including threaded holes, to the YH Series enclosures and panels, with extensive experience in CNC machining.
