Label manufacturer Herma is all set to unveil its new labeling machine, the 362 E which can apply labels to two sides of a product. The machine does not need the elaborate guards of the M-series in view of its design and occupies a little space compared to the C series.

The E-series shares many components with the larger M-series including the enclosed, stable and durable stainless steel machine stand and the parts that are responsible for aligning and stabilizing the product.

According to the German company, the 362 E dispenses with both a centring device and a scroll-type separator. The components would offer better labeling accuracy, but they would also require an obtrusive hood.

The 362 E is similar to all labeling machines from Herma and is based on a modular design. The efficiency that originates from modular construction is reflected in the ease of retrofits, upgrades and modifications to allow wrap-around labeling.

Herma said it has designed various modules for subsequent installation with very little time and cost input.
